The world of technology essentially never stops, especially when there are tests (or leaks like that of the Samsung Galaxy S23) involved. It is therefore not surprising that even at Christmas some not insignificant issues emerge. Among these, there is a youtube experiment related to queues.
In this regard, as reported by The Verge on December 24, 2022, the popular Google platform is starting to put a queue system with autoplay on Android and iOS. Yes, we are referring to a feature that has been known for quite some time by those who usually use the service through a common web browser, but now BigG is trying to make it available on mobile devices as well.
As you can well imagine, the testing phase has begun for now only with some YouTube Premium users, who can choose to put the novelty to the test. The feature consists, in simple terms, in having a permanent playlist available in which you can “save in order” the videos to watch, then being able to reorganize and manage them at will. When one video finishes, the next one plays, just like a playlist. In short, it is a method to never miss anything, which can potentially allow users to “navigate” better among the many videos on YouTube.
It seems, according to the reports of some users who have had the opportunity to get in touch with the feature, that the test will continue in this way until January 28, 2023. In any case, it must be said that the existence of an experiment of this type does not necessarily mean that YouTube has the actual intention of implementing the novelty for everyone: we’ll see.
